Found doing a Ph.D in India to be pointless as it is just a "degree". Want to do research in USA on consumer behavior. (did some research and have a paper ready to publish too but not as part of a Ph.D) Will it be worth visiting USA and collaborating with faculty there to be my guide in my Ph.D? I am getting paid for enjoying my classroom sessions but want to make a meaning in what i learn. Seek your advice.
